Things I wish I knew as a Teen.

Hello, I’m Trisha, a pediatrician based in Washington, D.C. currently in training to specialize in adolescent medicine. Growing up, not having yearly physicals with a pediatrician, I did not fully grasp how helpful it would have been to have a partner in health especially during my teenage years. This fuels my personal mission in ensuring that teens have access to proper healthcare and accurate health information. Simply put, I strive to be a unique blend of a slightly knowledgeable older sister, a cool and approachable aunt, and a trustworthy healthcare provider, all wrapped into one. This site is where I intend to document the journey to being the #pediatrisha that I aspire to be while sharing up to date, meaningful, and (mostly) medical information that I wish I knew as a teen.
